Drug EnforcementLAMAR, Mo. — A Lamar man is being held without bond after postal inspectors, the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team and police served a search warrant on his home Thursday and say they seized 444 grams of methamphetamine.

The Barton County prosecutor charged Brett A. Wilcox, 38, with first-degree trafficking in drugs and possession of a controlled substance following the raid on his home at 706 Parry St. in Lamar.

Wilcox, who previously in Barton County Circuit Court was facing four felony counts of forgery, failed to appear at a hearing May 16 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Electronic court records show that the warrant had yet to be served when the search warrant was served on his address.
